Teen Hope Roche-Bois (1996-1998)

Project
A three-year programme, including 30 young people aged 13+ who have failed their Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) exams twice. The profile of the beneficiaries:
  • too aged to continue primary education,
  • too young to work (under 16)
  • not eligible to enter secondary school (without the CPE).
About 100 cases were recorded at Roche-Bois annually at that time. By the end of the third year of the program, at least 15 trainees had successfully completed their training program and were employed by the hosting firms.

A mentoring project involving 176 children in the 4th year of primary school from the two schools.
