This project originated from the PASS 2001, was mainly sponsored by the Mauritius Commercial Bank.
During this period, the need for parents to be trained was greatly accentuated. A follow-up session to supervise children at home after the PASS 2001, was therefore launched.
The workshops were facilitated by professionals from the Institute for Child’s Rights (ICR), under the chairmanship of Rajendra Kumar (Shyam) Reedha, and the Pre-Primary School Trust Fund.
Since then, the School of Parents has become the Academy of Parents* in 2016 and the training programs have become part of the ” Integrated Education Support Program For a Better Future “
